USA Baseball Homegrown Clinic - Adley Rutschman (Saturday, 10/9)

By Michelle Cooper, 09/21/21, 4:00PM PDT

Reaching out to share with you an additional, exciting opportunity! On Saturday, October 9th between 11:00AM – 1:00PM, USA Baseball will be hosting our very first in-person Homegrown Clinic featuring hometown hero, USA Baseball National Team alum, the first overall selection in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, current professional baseball player with the Baltimore Orioles and product of Portland, OR, Adley Rutschman.

This FREE event is a part of our USA Baseball Homegrown program, which connects youth and families to Team USA athletes and current/former Major League Baseball players from their hometown communities. In short, this USA Baseball Homegrown Clinic will be structured as a fun and inclusive baseball experience for youth between the ages of 5-12. The event will provide kids with the chance to connect with Adley from their hometown, learn and play on the same field as him, while providing opportunity to experience the joys of the game which we hope will empower kids and encourage sustained interest in playing bat-and-ball sports.

To this email, I am including our digital event flier which highlights this event and provides free registration for the event. Don’t miss your chance to register today! Pre-registration is required, the event will be capped at 150 participants, and spots are filling up quickly!

To review several of the Health and Safety Requirements / Procedures that we have put in to place for this event, please see here.

Looking forward to kicking off our Homegrown Clinics program in Portland, OR with featured hometown hero, Adley Rutschman, on Saturday, October 9th!
