Wow! There are so many exciting things happening around Tigard Little League. Take a look at the picture. Can you tell where it is and what is happening?
Registration is open and we have many already registered. There is always room for more. The links will stay open for just another week for the upper levels. We encourage every family to register as soon as possible, particularly for Majors-AA for both baseball and softball. The deadline is March 4. Pee Wee has a bit longer, but we still would like registration to be completed quickly.
Many are asking what we are doing for evaluations. We are planning to hold them on March 6 and 7. The location is still being determined. 3 different options are in the works. As soon as we know which one will fall into place, we will get emails out to everyone registered who needs to sign up for an evaluation. We have heard that some families will be unavailable on these dates. If this is you and you have not reached out to either one of the player agents or me, please do so.
Calling all managers and coaches. We are still in need of additional volunteers. We can’t make all of this work without this special group of men and women. There will be how to, help and much more throughout the season. If you are interested but have questions, let us know. Otherwise, you will find an option to register to volunteer on the website.
Ok. Did anyone figure out this picture? If so, let’s see if you are right. The picture was taken by the TLL Fields Extraordinaire, this afternoon at Cook Park. Work is underway to replace the infield grass with turf on Cook Park 1 and 2. This season will be the inaugural season for this special treat for our players. Register today to join us!
