Hello Tigard Little League families

The City of Tigard is updating their master plan, and we as residents need to make our voices heard.  This is an opportunity for us to advocate for improved facilities for youth in our beautiful city.

We would like your help in letting the city know what is needed to provide amazing opportunities for our kids.

1. Build more fields.  The city owns property that is sitting unused, and many current fields are being converted to other uses.  Combined with increased demand this is the biggest obstacle we face.
2. Improve fields we already have.  This would include adding turf and lights to fields and Cook Park and potentially Dirksen.  This allows the league to play on days that would be too wet or in hours where we are currently limited by available light.  Having more playable hours in a season is a smart way to invest in our kids and community.

It is our privilege to help bring Little League to our community. Let's all make our voices heard so that the City will know that it is important to provide opportunity for our kids, now and in the future.
