We have received numerous requests for refunds over the last few days. Please note that at this point we are not cancelling the season, we are simply offering those families who do not want to participate in whatever type of season we can put together a way out. Whether that be a slightly shortened season or one that extends deeper into summer. At this time we can only wait and be ready for when our state and local officials deem the time has come to play organized sports. If you would like a refund at this time, you are opting out completely from playing any season we can put together. We will not be re-registering players once we get the go ahead to play.
If you registered less than 90 days ago you will receive a refund immediately. Due to the new refund restrictions put in place by our credit card processing company, if you registered over 90 days ago your refund will take longer. Each week I will send Sports Engine, our web host and merchant provider, a list of names to refund along with money for the refund. Once the money clears their bank they will issue everyone from that list a refund. In short, those of you who requested a refund this week may not see a credit in your account for the refund until next Friday at the earliest. Sports Engine implemented this policy after leagues started refunding money and then could not come up with the funds to pay the merchant, Sports Engine, after it had processed the refunds.
